GUIDE FOR ORGANISATIONS

1. INTRODUCTION OF SERVICE FOR ORGANISATIONS

PpokkugiTV service provides access to television and radio channels of DPR Korea listed in the Terms of Use with a yearly subscription fee (chart can be view from fees page).

It is realised that PpokkugiTV provides valuable media sources through the broadcasting channels of DPR Korea that are not found elsewhere on the Internet.

PpokkugiTV service is also aware of several research institutes across the world where studies pertaining to international broadcasting and/or DPR Korea are completed, where subscription to PpokkugiTV service would be beneficial in research and studies.

Due to these realisations, PpokkugiTV service offers bulk account registration for educational and research organisations (UNIVERSITIES, SCHOOLS, RESEARCH INSTITUTES, ET CETERA) at a reduced price per account for financial viability and convenience of partners, and to build trust of PpokkugiTV service.

Below will be found the chart for discounts in subscription fees for organizations meeting criteria.

2. REGISTRATION OF ORGANISATION ON SERVICE

2.1. REGISTRATION OF ORGANIZATION ADMINISTRATOR

In order for initiation of organization registration and issuance of organization ID, the senior/head of research must please send during the application process their information in following format:

NAME OF ORGANISATION*

STATIC IP ADDRESS OF ORGANISATION*

FULL NAME OF HEAD OF RESEARCH*

EMAIL OF HEAD OF RESEARCH*

DATE OF BIRTH OF HEAD OF RESEARCH*

NATIONALITY OF HEAD OF RESEARCH*

The head of research will be the main point of contact between the organization and PpokkugiTV service.

2.2. REGISTRATION OF ORGANIZATION USERS

In order for efficient issuance of individual user accounts, please send during the application process the data of each individual in following format:

FULL NAME OF INDIVIDUAL*

EMAIL OF INDIVIDUAL

DATE OF BIRTH OF INDIVIDUAL*

NATIONALITY OF INDIVIDUAL*

OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUAL/STATUS OF INDIVIDUAL IN FACILITY*

All accounts will have unique passwords assigned by the service.

2.3. EXPECTATIONS OF ORGANIZATION AND CORRESPONDING USERS

All users of the service, regardless of personal or organizational, are expected to thoroughly obey the rules of the Terms of Use at all times.

Any violations of the Terms of Use will be taken up with the organization administrator. Repeated failure of the administrator to act on violations of the Terms of Use will result in complete termination of the organization from PpokkugiTV service.

Offences of the Terms of Use committed by organization users will be treated as strikes for the entire organization so as to ensure the integrity of the service.

3. USE OF THE SERVICE FOR ORGANIZATION USERS

The following is a guide for organization users to using PpokkugiTV service. The login process is different to individual users.

Step 1: Open the homepage https://ps.ppokkugi.com and click on the button under "Login" button titled 《기관로그인》 ("Organisation login") marked in red box in the image. Using the individual user login will not work for organisations.

Step 2: Input the credentials of the account in the fields provided. The first field titled 《기관ID》 ("Organisation ID") is where the assigned ID to the organisation should be inputted, the second field titled 《사용자ID》 ("User ID") is where the unique user ID should be inputted, and the third field titled 《암호》 ("Password") is where the password of the account should be inputted.

Step 3: When login success, the user shall see three main buttons. The top button is titled 《텔레비죤》, meaning "television". Clicking this button will lead to video relays of television stations. The second button is titled 《라지오》, meaning "radio". Clicking this button will lead to audio relays of radio stations. The third button is titled 《계정정보》, meaning "account information". Clicking this button will show the account information for the user. To log out, select the button at bottom of the page.
